SupplySynk ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our inventory management platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account information (name, email address, password)
  • Organization details (company name, address, industry)
  • Product and inventory data you enter into the platform
  • Customer and supplier information you manage
  • Payment information for subscription services
  • Communications with our support team

We also automatically collect certain information when you use our platform, including device information, log data, and usage analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
  • Develop new products, services, and features

4. AI and Machine Learning

SupplySynk uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide features like demand forecasting and content generation. Your inventory data may be processed by AI models to generate insights and predictions. We do not use your data to train general-purpose AI models.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating our platform
  • Third-party AI providers for specific features (with appropriate agreements)
  • Professional advisers and auditors
  • Law enforcement when required by law
  • Business partners with your consent

6. Connected Social Accounts (Meta)

A shop can connect its own Facebook Page and Instagram professional account so that it can write and publish promotional posts from SupplySynk. Connecting is optional, is done by the shop's owner or an admin, and can be undone at any time.

When an account is connected, we receive and store:

  • The Page or account name and its identifier, and its profile picture if it has one, so that SupplySynk can show which account is connected
  • An access token, encrypted at rest, that lets us publish on the shop's behalf
  • The posts the shop publishes through us, and whether each one succeeded

We use this only to publish what the shop composes and to show the result back in SupplySynk. We do not read private messages, we do not collect friend or follower lists, we do not use data from Meta to train AI models, and we do not share it with anyone else.

We keep it until the account is disconnected. Disconnecting in SupplySynk, or removing SupplySynk from your Facebook settings, deletes the tokens and the stored account details. Removing it on Facebook also sends us a deletion request automatically, and we act on it and give you a confirmation code you can check. See deleting your data for both routes.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Mandatory two-factor authentication
  • Regular security assessments and audits
  • Role-based access controls
  • Secure data centers with SOC 2 compliance

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Some information may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes.
